My Old Ladies are in a nursing home now.
Oh watermelon!
For five years they were living in the Bronx in an “assisted living” situation with a home health care aide 24/7. Pernell and Fabiane took care of them, helping them with their daily needs, cooking their meals, and making sure they were safe. And they went to a senior center 6 days out of seven besides.
We like watermelon
But that program was closed down and I had to relocate them. That’s how they ended up in a nursing home in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
